THE drone show which proved a hit with fans at last year’s NTI Townsville 500 will return for the 2024 edition.
Hundreds of drones will light up the sky above the Reid Park Street Circuit with Supercars-related images on the night of Saturday July 6.
That will come between Tones and I, G Flip, and Cyril’s performances at the post-race concert.

“We really want to ensure our fans have a memorable experience on the night,” said Supercars chief operating officer Tim Watsford.
“The music acts, drone show and off-track entertainment, coupled with one of the best street circuits in Australia, make this year’s 15th anniversary of the event one of the biggest we’ve ever put on in Townsville, we can’t wait to see the track precinct filled once again in July.”
The July 5-7 event will represent Round 6 of the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship.
