McLaughlin drove this car in 2013 in his rookie season in the 'main game', winning his first race at Albert Park and then his first championship race win at Pukekohe in New Zealand, his homeland.

He also won another race at the Coates Hire Ipswich 360 at Queensland Raceway in this chassis.

After the Newcastle event this year the engine will still have around 2000kms or 3 events left until the next GRM rebuild.

This chassis was also driven by James Golding and finished 4th in the 2016 Super2 Series. He won his first-ever Super2 race at Phillip Island and followed it up with another win at Sandown, making his a winning car in both level of Supercars racing.

This VF Supercar is built for a skilled driver that wants to win and start a career in the Supercar main series.
