A SPECIAL Triple Eight Race Engineering chassis is the focus of the latest Classic Car episode of the V8 Sleuth Podcast powered by Motorsport Parts Australia.

888-023, the first brand-new VE-model Commodore built by the team after switching to Holden for 2010, is probably much better known by its nickname ‘Kate’.

Jamie Whincup has a special relationship with the car, racing it to two of his Supercars Championship victories and his Bathurst 1000 triumph with Paul Dumbrell in 2012 – in fact, his love of the car saw him purchase it once its competition life ended!
