SUPERCARS icon Brad Jones is the special guest for the third annual V8 Sleuth Bathurst Open Night, held during race week at this year’s Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.
After successful open nights in Melbourne, Bathurst and Perth in recent years, this V8 Sleuth Open Night will fall on Jones' 35th year of competing at Mount Panorama as a driver or team owner.
Continuing on from the success of last year’s event, the night will once again be held at the National Motor Racing Museum at the base of Mount Panorama.
All attendees must have a Thursday circuit pass to the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 to be able to access the circuit to get into the National Motor Racing Museum for this event. Admission to the museum on that night is included in the V8 Sleuth Open Night event ticket.
The Bathurst V8 Sleuth Open Night will be held on Thursday October 10, kicking off from 7.30pm.
The now familiar and popular format of V8 Sleuth Open Nights will continue, with Aaron Noonan joined on stage by Jones, to talk about his career both as a driver and team owner in Australia’s premier motorsport category, along with a diverse driving career that saw him triumph in production cars, AUSCAR, NASCAR and Super Touring.
Scheduled to start slightly later than last year, the Museum's doors will open for ticketed guests from 7:15pm ahead of the start of the event at 7:30pm.
Merchandise – including V8 Sleuth publications – will be available for purchase from the Museum shop, while food and drink will be available for purchase at the event.
A night of great stories, fun, and prizes is in store, so get in early to reserve your ticket to this event, as past experience indicates that tickets will sell quickly!
